How does the Department of Immigration and Border Protection protect vulnerable Filipina ladies from domestic violence and abuse in Australia? What happens if her Australian man is abusive to her?

The Department has had measures in place to protect children from sexual abuse from known offenders for a number of years, but nothing to protect vulnerable ladies from man with criminal records for domestic abuse and violence toward women and children. New measures have been put in place to protect women and to lift the veil on sponsor history that previous could have been unknown.
