A rush-job partner visa application. Crazy!

Anybody still thinking they can do a last-minute rush-job partner visa application to Australia from Philippines (or any country) these days is completely crazy. With the new tough stance that DIBP has taken on applications which are NOT decision-ready, you would be just asking for a refusal of that visa application.

The Department (and the Australian Embassy in Manila) used to be OK with what they call naked applications, ie. partner visa applications lodged with a minimum of documentation and relationship evidence, but not anymore. They want these applications fully-loaded and decision-ready so they don't waste time in following up with RFI's (requests for information). Since November 2017, they will refuse these applications outright.
